What is Fast Easy Pace?

Fast Easy Pace is the actual pace I want you to run. It’s the fastest number/pace of your “Easy Pace” range. By using Fast Easy Pace, I’m giving you a specific training pace assignment for that run.
EXAMPLE (Your “Easy Pace” range is 10:00-10:30):
- Fast Easy Pace is 10:00 (mm:ss)
- Middle Easy Pace is 10:15 (mm:ss)
- Slow Easy Pace is 10:30 (mm:ss)
If your assignment was to run at your Fast Easy Pace, your SPECIFIC TRAINING PACE for the above “Easy Pace” range is 10:00 (mm:ss) per mile.
To get more from your training moment, runs can be describe as Fast, Middle or Slow for ANY PACE RANGE whether it’s Race Simulation Pace, Hard Tempo Pace, Moderate Tempo Pace, 800 Meter Pace, Easy Pace, Recovery Pace, etc…
EXAMPLE (Pace Types = Hard Tempo Pace):
- Fast Hard Tempo Pace
- Middle Hard Tempo Pace
- Slow Hard Temp Pace
