TIP:Reduce your overall caloric intake by 15% a day for the 7 days prior to the Holiday/Event celebration. By doing so, you will be down 105% of the regular calories you would have consumed by the Holiday/Event. This will help to balance your overall calorie consumption and will help you to better manage your weight before and even after the Holiday/Event.
- 7 Days Prior – Down 15% of regular calorie consumption
- 6 Days Prior – Down 30% of regular calorie consumption
- 5 Days Prior – Down 45% of regular calorie consumption
- 4 Days Prior – Down 60% of regular calorie consumption
- 3 Days Prior – Down 75% of regular calorie consumption
- 2 Days Prior – Down 90% of regular calorie consumption
- 1 Days Prior – Down 105% of regular calorie consumption
- Enjoy your Holiday/Event with or without restrictions
- Get back to normal the next day
If you regularly consume 2,000 calories a day, your goal will be to consume about 1,700 calories daily to build a deficit of one entire day of calories which were not consumed by day 7 of this strategy.
